Life Story
Bob Pruyne, 77, of Arab AL, formerly of Erin NY, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep January 30, 2011. Retired from the maintenance dept. of Arnot-Ogden Hospital in Elmira NY (1996), he is survived by his wife of 15 years, Joyce Hapeman; son David of Horseheads NY; daughters Debbie & Diane of CA and Elaine of CO; a sister, Lois Towner and niece, Georgann Brandenburg; numerous step-children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren; numerous friends; and best-friend Michael Decker of Arab Al. In accordance with Bob's wishes, his body was cremated and no services held. A memorial summer gathering in NY is planned.
