Jerry Ronald Reames died in Salina, Kansas on June 28, 2011. He was born in Paris, Arkansas, to Roy Lee and Mathilda Kowalsky Reames. Jerry grew up in Ellinwood, Kansas, attending St. Joseph School and Ellinwood High School. He married Teresa Kincaid on June 15, 1973, in Boomer, WV. They were divorced. He later married Reiko Yukawa on August 1, l991, in Fukuoka, Japan. They also divorced. Survivors include sons Jerry, Jr., and Chad; daughters Shelly Gillenwater and Sarah Reames; stepfather Ray Kincaid; sisters Rena Spanier and Mary Ann Zink; grandchildren Christian, Jeri, Tobias, Chad, Jr., Jazmin, Damion, Brandon, Isaic, Triston and Hayley. He was predeceased by his mother, Mathilda Kowalsky Kincaid, his father, an infant brother, Roy, Jr., and grandson, Justin. Jerry enlisted in the U.S. Navy in September of 1968 and retired in August of 1994, an ABFC (Aviation Boatswain's Mate Chief Petty Officer).
