Bo Diddley, Musician & Performer


News just broke that Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer Bo Diddley has died today, Monday, June 2 due to heart failure at his home in Florida.  He was 79 years old.

 

The guitarist and singer helped bring together rock and roll and the blues over the course of several decades.  His music brought to genre’s together and brought the blues into the public spotlight.  One of his best loved songs was “Who Do You Love?” He was inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in January 1987.

 

Diddley was born Ellas Bates McDaniel in McComb, Mississippi.
