While on an American military base tour with the Harlem Globetrotters in Asia, Chris “Flash” Richardson passed away. The former UNLV basketball player passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 while in Sasebo, Japan of what is being reported as natural causes. He was just 28 years old.

Richardson was a forward at UNLV improving his game to a 9.1 points, 5.3 rebound average his senior year.  He was said to have loved his job with the Globetrotters.   “Being a Globetrotter means everything to me,” he said. “I get to do what I love for a living and entertain families.”
