Grief Still Real After 9/11

Today is the anniversary of one of the singularly greatest tragedies of our generation.  The attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon six years ago created widows, widowers, and orphans in an instant. It also created a sort of grief culture made up of Americans who face the pain, bereavement and slow healing process every single day and who have yet to feel a sense of closer and acceptance.

I encourage all of the Valley of Life readers to take a moment today to remember those that are still grieving their losses on that tragic day so many years ago. Post a comment to our 9/11 Forum Discussion or simply say a prayer for the suffering souls among us.

We hope that those that lost a loved one during the 9/11 attacks may find some comfort in our life stories pages - a place to remember and share our thoughts, prayers and love for the people we lose both suddenly and not so suddenly.
