Holiday Grief Seminar in New Berlin, Illinois
Butler Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center in New Berlin, Illinois is inviting the community to participate in sharing and discovering hope by attending a Holiday Help program on Sunday, November 11 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. The free event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 3000 S. Dirksen Parkway.
National expert on grief, Suzanne Howell, M.A., LCPC, will attend the event and present useful ways to help get through the holidays. Topics will include developing coping skills to get through the holiday season, learning creative ways to integrate the memories of loved ones in to new traditions and rituals, and embracing grief and the pain that may accompany these changes. Following the presentation, a memorial candle-lighting ceremony honoring loved ones will take place.
