In Memory of Heath Ledger
January 22, 2009 marks one year since the world lost Heath Ledger to an accidental drug overdose. His family gathered on Cottelsloe Beach in Australia to honor his memory on today. Ledger’s work is also being honored on this anniversary – he has been nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his role in The Dark Knight as The Joker.
Our hearts are heavy as we remember what a shining star he was and what a brighter star he could have been had he only had the chance.
