Losing a mother is an incredible loss that leaves a sadness in our heart that never really goes away. The founder of this site, Miri Rossitto, lost her mother prompting her to start Valley of Life, an online community of people who have lost someone close and who vow not to forget.

Mother is a word that is eternally associated with love and compassion. It is a refuge when we are kids and a strength in life when we grow up. To lose such a figure is a huge loss and creates a void that can not ever be fulfilled. A memorial website dedicated to those unfortunate souls that have lost their mothers is a really noble idea.

All those who have lost their mothers know what a huge void it creates in any person’s life. Through this online obituary website we can now share our views and pains with people who have had to face similar fate. This is a great platform for us.
