Losing a Child: Parents Speak Out

Jett Travolta’s death has prompted many to come forward and share their stories about losing a child with others.  Are you suffering from the loss of a child? Do you feel like you are the only one that has ever felt this way? Are you looking for help from others?

Watch this simple video of 3 families that stepped foward to share their experience with losing a child with CNN.

Maybe you can relate to their experience. Maybe you can find comfort in knowing you are not alone.  Personally believe that having shared their story was as much helpful for the parents as it can be helpful to you.

Valley of Life encourages parents to find ways to express their feelings, grief and experiences with others as a healthy way to cope with grief.

  1. Anita Ford Says:

I lost my son, Brandon, in Dec 2008, after he suffered a stroke. He was only 27 years old. The shock and the grief is unbearable. I just don’t want to believe it. A parent isn’t supposed to bury their child….we are heartbroken beyond belief.
