The Life Transition Center is hosting a support group for those people in the western New York area who have experienced the death of a loved one. The group will meet on November 8, 2007 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A $5.00 donation is suggested.

The Life Transitions Center was founded in 1977 by University of Buffalo faculty Dr. Marceline Jaques and Dr. Thomas Frantz and five of their students. The Center has become one of the premier grief counseling agencies in Western New York, serving more than 12,000 adults and children each year. The Life Transitions Center’s work has focused on providing education, counseling, information, support, and resources to anyone concerned about issues related to loss, grief, death, and living with a life-threatening illness.
