NY Support Group for Widows over 50
The Life Transition Center is hosting a support group and seminar for those in the western New York area who have experienced the death of a spouse within the last 18 months. The group will meet every Thursday from October 11 – December 6, 2007 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The cost to attend is $80 per person.

The Life Transitions Center was founded in 1977 by University of Buffalo faculty Dr. Marceline Jaques and Dr. Thomas Frantz and five of their students. The Center has become one of the premier grief counseling agencies in Western New York, serving more than 12,000 adults and children each year. The Life Transitions Center’s work has focused on providing education, counseling, information, support, and resources to anyone concerned about issues related to loss, grief, death, and living with a life-threatening illness.
