Oregon: Washington County Hospice Volunteers
Volunteers are needd to care for and support patients and their families during the final stages of a life-limiting illness. Volunteers can help with direct care of patients, bereavement work with families, clerical work, public relations and provide directions as a board member.
Bereavement and care training will begin this coming Tuesday, September 9, 2008. The seven class session will educate volunteers on topics such as Cancer, Nutrition, Pain & Symptom Management, Grief and Bereavement, Stress Management, and Death & dying.
