Robert Goulet Passes Away Today


Beloved entertainer Robert Goulet has passed away today. He was 73 years old. Goulet became a household name because of his big baritone voice and winning personality that won over broadway audiences and launched a successful recording career. Goulet was diagnosed last month with a rare form of pulmonary fibrosis and was waiting for a lung transplant since then.

Goulet was born to entertain. His career was launched in 1960 when he appeared in the Broadway production of “Camelot” alongside Richard Burton and Julie Andrews. Though he was Canadian born, he became America’s entertainer. Younger audience recognize Robert from his spots on ESPN commercials in the past year.
