Strong Women Discuss Grief and Healing at Women’s Conference 2009

Maria Shriver Womens Conference 2009This past week in Long Beach there was an incredible gathering of approximately 14,000 women for The Women’s Conference 2009. Over the course of two days women from all walks of life shared their stories of inspiration, hard work and love. When I heard that Madeline Albright, Caroline Kennedy & Elizabeth Edwards were only a tiny sample of the attendees, I promptly decided that I will be there in person next year.

Oregon: Several Grief and Coping Groups Meeting This Month

As the holidays approach, there are many of you that will be revisiting moments of sadness and loss.  Family holidays and functions remind us of the good times we spent with our loved ones and often times can recreate the grief of that loss all over again. Several clinics and hospitals in the Oregon area are providing sessions for the grieving during this time of year. Below are just a few available in October.
