Dying Matters Awareness: The Funeral Preplanning Guide

Today marks the start of an unusual event in the UK – Dying Matters Awareness Week. The national awareness week is said to be a tool for encouraging people to talk openly about death, dying, and bereavement — topics that many often label taboo. Incidentally, Valley of Life believes talking about death-related topics is extremely healthy and even has a new resource that’s a perfect supplement to the discussion.

MLB Pitcher Expands Children’s Bereavement Camps Nationwide

How You Can Comfort Grieving Children

In Memory of Patricia Jean Breslow

It is hard to believe that it has almost been two years since Mom passed away. October 20th will be just another day for mostly anybody else on the planet. For me though, this day is a reminder that life is short, life is precious and life shouldn’t be taken for granted even for a small moment. Being a Mom myself makes this fact more poignant.
