Bruce Giunta, Local Oregon Bicycling Icon
Tuesday, June 30th, 2009Bruce Giunta of Tualatin passed away last Friday, June 26, 2009 from injuries he receved earler in the month. He was 69 years old. On June 2 he was riding in Vancouver with several others from the Portland Velo cycling club when a stick got caught in his spokes, causing him to fly from his bike. He has been suffering from critical injuries he sustained during the fall ever since.
