Thousands in U.S. Mourn for Polish First Couple

Lech and Maria Kaczynski, the president of Poland and his wife, were buried April 18, 2010 in a massive state funeral in Krakow. The couple died in an airplane crash last week that also killed 94 Polish dignitaries who were flying to Russia to attend a memorial service for Polish prisoners of war killed in Russia during World War II.
