Memorial to Honor the Newly Fallen

A Buffalo, New York memorial, which will have a public dedication on September 11, 2010, will honor those who lost their lives in the Persian Gulf War, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Designs for the monument were unveiled Saturday at Forest Lawn’s Field of Valour.

Valley of Life Collaborates With USFallen.org to Commemorate Veterans

Military Finally Lays Distinguished Hero to Rest

HowardCol. Robert L. Howard, America’s most decorated soldier, was laid to rest yesterday in Washington, D.C., reports USFallen.org. Howard received full military honors at the funeral attended by more than 350 mourners, including 20 fellow Medal of Honor recipients. An additional memorial service is schedule to be held in Texas at Fort Sam Houston on February 27. Howard died of pancreatic cancer in late December 2009. He was 70.

Honoring Our Freedom-Fighters

Like Memorial Day or Veterans Day, our Independence Day not only celebrates the freedoms we have here in the United States of America, but it also honors those who founded and fought for those freedoms.
