Losing a child has got to be one of the hardest things to live through. Its tough on the surviving parents and also very tough on a marriage.

Because parents are not supposed to outlive their children, many people don't know what to say to an individual that has lost a child.

Don't let anyone dictate how long your grieving is. People grieve differently and you have to do what's best for you. Grieving the loss can be a long journey If you are having trouble coping, perhaps you might try counselling.

I agree' No one can tell a person . how long to grieve. One can grieve for a life time. We can't get over losing a loved one in a short time. Yes. Do take the time to seek help if you feel its needed. Think about you!

Grief is such a complex emotional response it is really important to understand what it really is and how it differs from depression. I just finished reading some good information provided by Valley of Life on coping with grief and it seems to make sense.
