If some one that is close to you taked his or her life, not only does the grief of someone that you loved and cared about come into play, but so does the guilt. You may be thinking to yourself that you should have saw it coming. Don't be so hard on yourself. Their choice to take their own life was not about you, nor is it a reflection on you. Remember this person loved you and you should honour their memory. Talk to a grief counsellor or perhaps join a suicide survivors' support group and start to heal.

Yes. Do not take on the guilt. Grieve process needed. Seek help and honor them to rest in peace.

what good would a counsler do? i am only seventeen and my boyfriend adam took his life less than 2 months ago... their is nothing but guilt and i hate everyday of life cuz i want to be with him but i need to be here for the few that dont blame me for his death and to tell his story so he is not forgotten like so many others.
