I have battled depression and anxiety my entire life. Between ages 12 and 16, it took every ounce of strength I had to NOT kill myself. I never even tried, but the thoughts were there obsessively day and night. Then, about a year and a half ago, taking Klonopin led me back into suicidal depression. With the intervention of friends, family, and my own will, we got through it. There is hope. My life today is beyond incredible.

I have dealt with depression issue, I can't say that I have goen through the suicide phase but I think that alot of times we let the world over rule our lives. We have to learn to become one with our souls.

I've once thought about it once but realized who i'd be leaving behind. The people who love would probably hurt the most. Today, I do not have these feeling anymore becuase i have who love like my spouse.

I will be here for those who need help and support. I've been though enough to know that i can help out when help is needed. I've used music and and other forms of relaxation to help me with my bad thoughts. The best way through this is to talk to somebody, anybody.

I hope that as a group we are able to walk through this with whom ever might be going through it. Just for them to know that they aren't alone can be a huge blessing for them.

I would like to be here for those who think about suicide too. I give my full support as best as I can. If I am online while posting, do not be afraid to give me a private message if you need someone to talk to. We need to stick together in order to help each other out.

I don't think that forums are the best way for this type of communication. I mean it's too slow for that type of resolution. I think you would have to find a better form of communication when trying to help someone who is thinking about suicide.

Yeah. I too battled depression most my life. I even thought of suicide once in my life. I also lost someone to suicide. So it helps to read a lot tips and it helps to know inforemation is out there. I was abused in many ways. thank you again for the imformation and support.

i dont think you can help suicidal people.. my fiance killed himself jan1,2008 because i told him we needed a break and it wasnt the first time he had threatened it mow i struggle with thoughts of it because i want to be with him but hate to hurt everybody anymore than they allready are.
