I went to high school with Miri and had the pleasure of meeting Patti several times. She sent me the craziest birthday package, every inch covered with stickers. It was filled with gag toys and trinkets. She was the best.

She took Minda and I to Nordstroms in Beverly Hills and got us both the most beautiful graduation dresses and even had them altered for us while we were staying with Miri for a couple of days during the beginning of our senior year.

She was so amazing, so vital, so FUNNY!!! She had the biggest heart and the most wonderful laugh. She was so beautiful...the world is infinitely more dull without her in it.

Only Patti could tell it like it is and get away with it. I met Patti while working at Fire Station 99. She quickly took all of us under her wing and brought smiles to our faces with her quick wit, accurate insight and infectious laugh. Reminders of her personality still hang on the walls of the Fire Station. A true friend who is missed greatly.

Lisa Breslow (June 05, 2007)
My name is Lisa Breslow, or Lisa-Lou as Patti called me. Patti was my step-mother, or as she herself described it, the wicked ole witch. I will never have the joy of knowing a character like her again in this lifetime. Patti was a symphony of inconsistencies, she rarely reacted to situations the way ordinary people would. After over thirty years of being blessed with her friendship and love, I have millions of stories, but this one ilustrates the Patti I adored. For two years, when in college, I was the baby-sitter at the Breslow household. One day, because of school, I was extremely stressed out and I yelled at Patti. Instead of being insulted or angry she just looked at me, smiled and said "good for you Lisa, I knew you had some spunk!" Three years ago I moved to Ohio and I had not seen Patti for a long time. For me she is not gone, she is just living in another state. With love forever, Lisa-Lou.

I had only met her once and it was at Miri's baby shower. I had heard so many great/funny things about her from Miri so I was so excited to finally meet her! After meeting her you could see why so many were so fond of her. She had a personality like no other and definitely one of a kind. She was beaming with joy and pride that day! Miri and Vivian- You have a guardian angel forever!

I met Patti Breslow through her amazing daughter, Miri. Its so very true in this case when i say , ' Like Mother, Like Daughter'. Two of the most amazing people that i have ever met in my lifetime. So full of life, and live to make others smile. I dont think i have ever talked to Patti, or heard a story about her that didnt make me smile so much it hurts. I cant begin to say how much of an effect she had on me in the brief couple of years i was blessed to have her enter my life. She is missed by all.
