On August 14th, 2009 at 5:45am California time, Tim “Ske” Selinske passed away after his battle with Langerhans' Cell Histiocytosis. He had been undergoing treatment for the last 8 months when his condition took a turn for the worse.

Born August 10th, 1959 to Bob and Kathleen Selinske, Tim grew up in San Marino, CA with his older brother and younger sister and brother. Early in his high school years he was introduced to a sport that would become the first passion in his life, Frisbee (or disc sports). He began his days with the International Frisbee Association, and until his untimely death, Tim was a tireless promoter of disc sports in general and Disc Golf in particular.
